I’ve been writing vegan recipes as School Night Vegan since 2017 and I’ve loved every blummin minute of it. From game-changing Vegan Chicken to that TikTok viral Blueberry Matcha Latte! I even wrote my first ever cook book, which was a total dream come true! Along the way a bunch of you have become seriously invested - so I started this newsletter as a way to offer you even more!

Recommendation Corner
Whether it’s an ingredient, someone else’s recipe or even a podcast I listen to while cooking. If I love it, I’ll share it with you. I spend about 90% of my life in a test kitchen, so I tend to come across plenty of things that make cooking more fun, and how could I keep those to myself??
Weekly Wrap
A lot can happen in a week, and I’m a chronic over-sharer, so prepare to hear about all the gritty details. I might update you on any new recipes I’ve posted to schoolnightvegan.com, or maybe just something funny my dog did. Sometimes it’s food related (like the fried kimchi sandwich that made me cry) and sometimes it’s not (like the time I almost ran over Jude Law in an ice cream truck) but it’s always a guaranteed good read!
Exclusive Recipes
Sharing recipes on instagram is fun, but most people are just there to look at pretty videos of the latest cube croissant or whatever. Writing recipes for my blog is also fun, but in order to please the Google gods (the ones who pay my bills!) I have to write very specific recipes in a very specific way. This newsletter allows me to share recipes that are important to me and to use my own voice! Think Roasted Dynamite Linguine , Gyoza “Burnout” Soup and Homemade Crispy Chilli Garlic Oil. These recipes are always vegan, always delicious and always exclusive to Substack.
